Our desire is to bring hope through a variety of ways to our community. Wherever we go, we want to leave behind a legacy of love, hope, and community.

WELCOME
The passion to bring HOPE to Troy brought us together to form we team we are today. When we started, it was not known exactly how to execute this passion and how it would evolve, but deep down the HOPE was to somehow make a difference in the lives of this community and the communities around us. This team has all seen firsthand how personal character affects others in one form or another throughout our lives, and how one act of kindness from one person can give HOPE to someone else. This is where our story begins.
Martin Luther King Jr is quoted as saying "We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education". Your character, who you are as a person, is what really matters. If you look around in our world today, we honor a lot of things. We honor athleticism. We honor beauty. We honor wealth and prestige. We honor intelligence. It is not often we see someone with exceptional character honored. It was out of this realization The Hope Character Scholarship was brought to life.
The Hope Scholarship Corp was founded in May of 2020 as a 501c3, and its sole purpose is to bring honor to children and young adults through scholarships based on the content of their character as well as bring HOPE through a variety of ways to our community. This includes scholarship money based on character, paying off overdue lunch accounts in schools, putting shoes on the feet of our community, honoring teachers who represent strong character, and partnering with other local non-profits to help in any way we can.
THE HOPE SCHOLARSHIP
Over the past two years, we have presented a total of thirteen local high school seniors a Character Scholarship totally $14,000, and honored them at their graduations in front of their peers, parents, and school faculty as well as showing up at individual houses to present them with the scholarship. Each scholarship was based on their personal character. It is such an amazing experience to give this kind of accolade. We believe character is the most important thing you can honor. After all, what good is athleticism without character? What good is beauty without character? What good is wealth, prestige, or intelligence without character?
This year we were able to surprise Eva Bolton at her graduation party and present her with a $3000 scholarship towards her future educational goals. Congrats Eva! Thanks for letting us crash your party!
Throughout the years we have been blessed to donate to Seeds of Hope, We Love Birthday Parties, Pink Ribbon Girls and Reading for Change. We do not want to stop there. Our hearts are for serving others and we can't do this without help from you! So, from the bottom of hearts, THANK YOU!

OUR LABOR OF LOVE
SHOE SOME LOVE

Shoe Some Love--The Hope Scholarship Corp has grown! We started a shoe campaign for our children right here in Miami County with hopes to continue this year round. Our goal is to provide over 200 pairs of shoes this year, over 100 already donated.
Did you know that 1 in 5 American children is in desperate need of shoes and there is a need right here in Miami County?
When you give shoes to a child, you give so many other things like Hope, Joy, Dignity, and Confidence.
If you feel called to donate, please send check to The Hope Scholarship Corp at 3302 Heatherstone Dr, Troy, OH 45373
THERE IS STILL HOPE

Two years ago we were blessed to help this student out with $500 to get his car fixed to travel back and fourth from school. It was his only way to get there.
Today, V’Shonne has started interning with the Dallas Mavericks this week and will be graduating soon. He is still on the Dean’s list, Honor Roll and received the Alabama Agricultural Mechanical University’s Silver Presidential Medallion Award!
The Hope Scholarship Corp is honored to be a part of this young man’s story.
There is still good in the world.
There is still kindness.
There is still love for each other.
There is still HOPE!
